A little about me: My job description says I am a World Leader in Meditation, Intuition and Higher Consciousness Learning. What does all of that mean? Well, I teach people how to meditate in a way that is healthiest for them and to use their imagination in a loving way to improve their body and their life. The Higher Consciousness stuff? Those are some fancy words that mean that I have a real respect for my Mind, Body and Spirit and that throughout my rather interesting life, I have learned to Love and Trust Myself almost all of the time. But it wasn’t always this way. During my coming out years, there was a lot of heartache, confusion and pain before I was able to see my way out of the darkness and into my own version of the light. Every ounce of my esteem and self worth has been earned through diligent work and a healthy passion for life despite the many challenges and obstacles I have faced. Believe me, I have been through some dark times that have tested the very fabric of my identity but I firmly believe that part of my life’s purpose here was to go through that dark stuff so I can share with you exactly how I survived it all. Today I get to share with you the things that I have learned that have helped me to transform confusion into compassion and fear into empowerment. Read on. I will share with you some of the things I use everyday that have helped me to transform seeming defeat into victory and create the awesome opportunities that I have today.
On Meditation, Life & Breath
You are the most qualified expert on your own life
In my travels I meet many people who are having trouble hearing their inner voice, the very one with the key to their hearts desires! And with so many conveniently placed distractions I can understand why! Most of the programming we receive from television, family, and the “media at large” is instructing us to override our natural instincts and go along with what others say is “better for us” or the “correct way”! If you have any opinion on marriage laws or civil rights you know exactly what I mean.
In my own life, one of the things I hear the most is: “I need you to teach me to meditate correctly” or “I am terrible at meditation”. Baloney! The truth is that these statements are really someone else’s story! Not yours! Saying you are “terrible at meditation” is like saying you are “terrible at life” which judging from my experience is unequivocally untrue! The Universe makes no mistakes. Which means you wouldn’t be here unless you have some Awesome/Important purpose to share with the planet and you can begin on the road to living that purpose by looking at Life and Meditation as one and the same.
The real truth is that you really don’t have to try at either of them because you are already wired to do both successfully! For example, did you know that whenever you make a focus of something for longer than 3 seconds You. Are. Meditating. That’s right! If you can think. You can meditate! You are doing it right now as you read this sentence! So you don’t need me to tell you how because you are already doing it all the time! The trick with Meditation is to focus on something that is healthy and I’ll tell you why. Whenever I have spent time living someone’s else’s truth or abusing myself with fear based negative thoughts thats exactly what I have brought into my life. Crap. Thoughts are energy and energy feeds and attracts more of the same.
To be successful in my own life I’ve had to make a special focus on crafting what and how I think. This means that loving & trusting myself even when it hasn’t been popular (especially so) has moved me forward and any time spent doubting or ignoring myself has created an unsatisfying reality in the jobs I’ve worked, the relationships I’ve had as well as my body, my home and my own self image.
I have found that changing my thoughts to healthy ones is a powerful act that has reworked entire areas of my life in Awesome ways! This kind act of Self Love takes practice and you can begin right now with your breath!
Your breath is the key to Self Love and fuels every passion, every dream, every love that you imagine possible. Without breath nothing is possible. We do it all the time but very few of us breath in a way that is healthy and respectful of the beautiful miracle that is our bodies. It can be helpful to think of every breath we take in as a way of saying yes to our life!
This is one of the healthiest focuses you can have and is the foundation to creating victory and a healthy reality. When you take the time to breath correctly you are giving your body, mind and spirit a chance to recalibrate, sending balance to all of your functions right down to the atomic level. This includes your thoughts! The more you practice at breathing in a way that is healthy for your body, the easier it will be for you to create a thought focus that is Self Lovingand Self Trusting! That is powerful! And you are built to breathe and live in this healthy way! Which means you are designed to succeed!

It will make the discovery of your special purpose that much more fun and waaaay easier! Continue to breath, focus, & balance yourself and you will begin to understand exactly why you are here.
