Victor Cruz of the New York Giants sits down with 19-year-old, Joey Kemmerling, to talk about years of bullying and to draw comparisons to each others lives.
In a well produced video by the USA Network the two talk about hurtful times in both of their lives where they experienced bullying just because of who they are. Cruz helps Kemmerling move past a painful time in his youth by bringing him into the New York Giants locker room.
In the video Kemmerling talks about how he once considered suicide after the bullying he faced in school, but has overcome those fears in recent years thanks to organizations like the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network.
Cruz also takes time to share with Kemmerling about a time in his life when he was bullied because he is half Puerto Rican and half African-American.
